BRUCE BELLAND’s career was once summed up this way by The Los Angeles Times: “Anyone who’s ever sung along with the radio, watched television, attended a concert or enjoyed a movie has, at some time, been touched by his talent”.
He became a teenage Pop Star as Lead Singer and hit songwriter of The Four Preps who were featured in LIFE magazine and on dozens of Ed Sullivan and American Bandstand shows. He then Co-Starred for four seasons on the seminal family sitcom “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet” and in the original “Gidget” movie, and went on to be honored as a multiple Gold and Platinum Recording Artist, International Concert Performer and Songwriter for stars like Sammy Davis Jr., Willie Nelson, Roy Clark, Della Reese, Johnny Mathis, and The Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
He’s contributed to the score of numerous films including: “Terms of Endearment”, “Gidget” “National Lampoon’s Vacation”, Disney’s Classic “Jungle Book” and youth comedy favorite “The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes.”
Honored with three Emmy nominations for his work on such shows as: “Name That Tune”, “The Mickey Mouse Club”, “NBC Mystery Theater” “To Catch a Thief”, “Knight Rider” and “Happy Days”, he’s also lent his comedy writing talent over five decades to funny men like George Burns, Steve Allen, Johnny Carson, Bob Newhart and Chevy Chase.
A recipient of The Freedom Foundation’s Presidential Medal of the Arts, numerous ASCAP Citations of Achievement, and a salute in the Congressional Record, his work has been cited in such publications as Rolling Stone, The Wall Street Journal, LIFE, The New York Times and Daily News, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, TV Guide and People.
For the past ten years he has performed as one of “The Three Tenors of Pop” (www.ybsgold.com) with appearances booked around the world as much as two years in advance and has been a featured Guest on the “Today” and “Tonight” shows, “AM America”, MTV’s “Behind the Music”, “Entertainment Tonight” and “Magic Moments” a recent Award-winning Musical Special on PBS.
Bruce considers his collaboration with Lincoln, his friend since high school, to be the gratifying culmination of five decades of adventures in entertainment.

“He not only sings stirringly, but evokes wonderful memories with his unique anecdotes and asides.”
